oNEwAY started by Wang Wei, now the guitar of the band, in 2003 or earlier in the city of Kunming,Yunnan ,southeast of China. The band members were finally settled down as they are today in Oct.2006. The band is gifted in working out beautiful melody that easily makes you captivated, and the unique style embedded in the place where they come from distinguishes the band from the others. At present, the band is trying to create music with a instrumental/post-rock style and has committed to the joining of that style with Chinese and traditional Yunnan characteristics.
