Dead Can Dance，低调唯美著称的暗色中世纪民谣，4AD的招牌乐团。音乐元素丰富，早期融入哥特、后朋、迷幻、蓝调以及各类民族音乐……，自90年代初期渐渐成熟，为medieval，neo-classical等乐团的启蒙。
The Lotus Eaters无疑是像DCD致敬的专辑中阵容最庞大的一张——汇集了goth / darkwave / black metal超多的知名乐团，只看list就足够期待了，绝对是DCD迷们的必收专辑。但同时也已经料到，有他们坐镇，此tribute必然谨慎恭敬而无甚新意，缺乏DCD那种让人倍感神秘又难以忘怀的神韵。。。倒是Trail of Tears、Hortus Animae等乐团的金属演绎，点缀的冲击力让人生出些许的回味和感动。
