独立音地：Rust Inside是惘闻近四年来发行唱片中的第一首人声作品，主题正如此前广为人知的“垂死的岁末”，抒发的是人心的哀寂。谢玉岗这次选择了英文，可能是在纯器乐之后的顺延意识，更多的应该是非母语的模糊意蕴。何况心魂锈迹的描述本不具有可资取用的文字资源。实际上，每个人的寥落心意从未相同过。
　　我只是感佩于他在中段后每句之后的抑声嘶喊。这就像是一个负重而行者要与所有疲累告别一般。但是这种强行振作终属无奈。
　　张岩峰的回归就像惘闻重回更感性的创作路线一样自然，他的口风琴恰到好处的牵引出了这首作品里的伤感之意。不过我更愿意相信，在多年创作历程之后，惘闻在这张《IV》里步上的是一个新的阶梯。他们的勤勉和受众的扩大，也已证明了这一点。
　　如果心意相近，你为什么不跟着老谢一起“吼”出这首“内心锈迹”呢。那应该不难。
