Wangwen Here in Europe

　　Chinese post-rock band Wangwen is on their first Euro tour from 5th to 28th this month.Their music will be heard in seven places of five countries, including two music festivals.
　　Asked their feelings about this tour, Xie Yugang, Guitar and Vocals of Wangwen said,
　　“to attend such a large internationl activity of cultural exchange is a rare chance to learn, and we will in good condition present to the world, the accomplishment of Chinese new musicians.”
　　Wangwen, as one of the maturest Chinese post-rock bands, has a history of over 9 years, greatly influnced by several well-known bands like Mogwai, Red Red Meat, is gradually forming into their own style.
　　During the tour, they will bring with them their latest album “IV”. This album which took Wangwen nearly a year to accomplish, has attracted huge attention at home the moment it’s published.Now it has the chance to be heard overseas.
　　While giving live performance in local places, Wangwen will attend two music festivals.
　　On Jun 5th, they will debut in SPOT in Aarhus, Denmark, with some well-known bands, among them The Radio Dept and Efterklang. SPOT is one of the most important activities of music exchange in Northern Europe. This year Wangwen will be the only Chinese band among all 160 bands.
　　Then in the 4th-held “London Calling”, Chinese government is going to promote several outward-looking audio-visual products. Wangwen and some other artists will be present, representing mainland China.
